Gee, I wonder who'll be the first to reply to the post aimed at gore freaks?
I'm liking. It looks Nosferatu-esque.
Any details of plot? Budget? Effects?

Hey there.
Nice image man. Very moody and atmospheric. It's almost ruined by the fact you have a decapitated corps in the foreground.
My tip. And I accept I know nothing about the script, is that you lose the corps and use the silhouetted image of the guy with the blade as your poster/video cover.
Looks cool man I look forward to seeing more.
Despin out.

thanks for the comments.
Um....the corpse is kind of like the whole point.... ;-)
The finished film (super8 and DV) will hopefully be pretty nosferatu-esque - lots of basic/simple in camera effects - such as stop motion actors, but a few digital effects too, and lots and lots of latex stumps and fake blood. (if it all goes to plan)
budget about 2 grand.
May post more as and when.

Hi there
Thanks - no special lights. The whole thing is faked (as is everything in this business 8-| ) -
For info the original photo is at

I am new but you should take the corpse out, as the head represents that he has beheaded someone, just an idea.

Yep, you don't need the corpse. It would be a stronger image without it.
You say that 'the corpse is the whole idea' - you get enough from just seeing the scary bloke in the background - don't give the whole game away too soon.

Hello!
thanks for the comments. Wow you are all far too subtle for me.
You may be right about loosing the body, but in the context of this moment in the film the corpse absolutley stays!
If you ever get to see the finished thing I think you'd realise why.
Cheers and best of luck
